"God has given us two hands, one to receive with and the other to give with." - Billy Graham

We have a brotherhood here that is amazing. The last few times I sat in my treestand after the accident I thought of Chris and wondered if he could feel the cold, see the birds and maybe somehow guide my arrow if loosed. I don't even know Chris, never met him. Yet bowhunting made us brothers. The loss of your son has made trad gangers even closer Sir, and for that you can be proud.

God bless you and your family.

The fulfillment of your hunt is determined by the amount of effort you put into it  >>>---->

I know how much a Father loves his children.  I do not even want to imagine the grief of losing one, but I will say that God gives us hope.  This is a powerful scripture when dealing with death, I thought I would share it.  God Bless.

1 Thessalonians 4
13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. Psalms 3:3

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Larry,

I think of you and Chris almost daily. I know he is with God and is smiling down on all of this. It was an honor to share the hunt with you at Solana and I felt Chris's presence the entire time I was there. Hold tight to family. I pray for you and yours daily.

REading the posts and remembering one brief time spent at Ray's with Chris, I'm assured that it is we who have been blessed!

We are never as tall as when we are on our knees.

Chris' untimely death brought us all to our knees and into the light.

Prayers continue!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Children shouldn't go before their parents -- especially the only child in such a tragic way.  My prayers reach out to all those that have lost children because I now know how very, very hard it is.
I can't image...

Larry,

Our prayers continue for you and your family....always.

God Bless,  Pierre and Jean-Pierre and family
