Longbow Gurus,What strings for your HH,Mowawks etc ?

Skinny 450+. I see a big difference in feel and a little speed (not big deal) vs B-50 on HH bows

I have 6 spools of B50 and it works well for me..........wont have to buy a string for the rest of my life.........

Is there other string material besides B-50?    

Sorry that is all I ever used, but have friends that use other material on their HH and they love it.

As stated best to check with the bowyer and see.

I use D97 on my longobows but my limbs for the Blacktail recurve were built to use B50.

My Hill wears a Oliver Stacy 12strand padded to 16 D-97....................
