On that particular bow, yes. It had Osage limbs and had a little "boink" to it before I put the SBD on it. Bought and sold alot of Centaurs, and I have five right now that aren't going anywhere soon. I played with that one ALOT and couldn't find the sweet spot until I put that string on it. Don't get me wrong, I really like Jims strings but the SBD did the trick on that bow.

I cannot wait to get mine, "sigh" 11 months to go.

Still wondering if I should go low heel or medium heel for the grip, leaning towards medium.

Patience has paid off! I have been wanting a Centaur for quite some time now to see what all the fuss was about. My ideal bow was to be a 62" Chimera or Elite in the low to mid 50's and would you believe it--One came up for sale and I was fortunate enough to pick it up.

Here it is  :)

I now know what all the fuss was about w/Centaur bows. This is my first and I am already looking for a shorter one for this upcoming Spring Turkey season. Impressive.

Recently traded for a Chimera, and I like it a lot.

Does anybody have a side-profile picture of the low wrist grip?

I would also be interested in seeing a pic or two of the low grip option from Jim.

Thanks Larry, I am a bit smitten with it myself.
