I have always used straight fletch. Always use one of several two-blade heads. five inch parabolic, left wing, not that that matters.

I would never use a straight fletch and a broadhead.  No way, not no how.

Either helical or off set for me.

I have used a straight clamp, but always off set it 1 or 2 degrees. Helical or offset seems to stabilize the arrow quickly.

i have before. i now use the offset it just seems more forgiving to me. if you have a jo jane or a bitz jig u can ofset your feathers without buying new stuff for it.

Hope u don't mind me asking in u'r thread! Having only used helical with success, what is the purpose of straight fletch? In what scenario is this used? Is the use of L or R wing feathers negated?
