I just had to mention this. We had worked out a deal, a trade. Well what I received I didn't expect! He sent me the items we spoke of AND more! He knows I've been exploring building selfbows lately. So enclosed is a self made scraper. I think it is made from a lawnmower blade...? He wrote on it "Have fun making bows and signed it". It may not be much to some. But I will remember his generosity and thoughtfulness every time I peel off shavings. Thanks Chuck! You put a great edge on that beauty!

I am glade you like it David. It's not a mower blade but some good saw steel. The edge is easly done with a file or belt sander. I never have used them burnisher things. Quick and easy touch-up. Have fun with the bow making and ENJOY!
Thanks for the good words guy's

Chuck's one of the good ones.  He donated a custom Ambush bow to the Mich. bunny stomp last year which my buddy Doug won.  Then at Compton's last year he sold my son another Ambush.  I guess I'm next!

I heard a rumor about Chuck hosting a bow making school.
I spent a day last summer making a bow with Chuck and had a great time.
