Well after feeling burnt out on Bow hunting, and not being able or willing to pull the bow string back on Deer or a target. I took a year and 1/2 off. Well last week I picked up a Blacktail recurve and shot it.... It was Like WOW!!!

looks like a few things have changed around here.

Just pick up that bow (a Blacktail no less) and shoot it!

Everything else will sort itself out...

Archery is of mind, body and spirit.

When any ONE Of those is out of synch with the rest, the whole ceases to exist, or at least ceases to be fun.

To me then, archery's sum of it's parts is defnitiely greater than the whole!

There are seasons. Seasons to learn about equipment. Seasons to experiment with and blend old and new ways. Seasons to accept declines in physical prowess and find new ways to climb the same hill.

Sounds to me that your timing is perfect and the reasons don't matter! Enjoy and rejoice!
