I've always made and shot cedars or ash,but I'm messing around with different carbons for now.Sometimes you can find some good deals on different shaft materials.I've made cheap woodies from ramin dowels I got from the hardware store that cost me around $5.00 apiece with fancy cresting and all that good stuff.
