Tony welcome home, I bet you just can't wait for your feet to hit planet earth on your old stomping grounds in Michigan once again!
I bet it hasn't changed much since you last saw it and the whitetail have been waiting for ya.

It's kind of ironic about not being able to own a bow in China......If I remember correctly didn't the Chinese first invent the damn thing?
Some several thousand years ago?

Somebody perk up here and give me a history lesson on that.

If I were you Tony, the first thing I would do when I got home was to apply for my CCW permit.......just because I can!

That would be a good welcome home...lots of bows, and alot of good'ol down home folk's, fling'n arrow's and chewing the fat! Welcome back to TG and Welcome home!! Jason

Thank you all so much for the comments.  You are a great bunch!

It's late here...got to get some sleep.  Y'all have a great day in the USA!

Chris,
Thanks for the link!  The only problem with it is, from here, the bowser is quickly reset....

In China there is no access to youtube, facebook, twitter, etc.  They are all blocked by The "Great Fire Wall"   Bummer!    :help:

Killdeer,
Thanks for your kind words!  I always enjoy your writing - you are a gifted communicator!

Oh man that's a real crappy deal, I guess that's what it feels like to live in a communist country?
Boy they really try to shut you off from the civilized world don't they?

Macatawa, good to see you on here again....it's been a long time.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Over&Under

Well stated Tony!
I enjoyed your post very much and the thoughts you had.

David,
Yes, it has been a long time....too long.
Back when we first joined TG, I spent a couple years here and, before that, on another site.

I got to know many great people and, for the first time in my life, I realized that I could easily relate to anybody / everybody.  There were no language barriers (needed a primer in "TradTrash" tho) social, cultural, age, gender, barriers.

It was (is) a good experience for me.  I absolutely love traditional archery - it's easy to be here.
