I went hunting last night and no sooner got to my area and found a couple of other trucks invading my area and after 1/2 hr in the stand I heard the muzzle loader go off(not more than 150 yrds away).I climbed down went home early and took out my frustrations in a positive manner. These were made from shafts I got in a trade with Semohunter and all the rest (feathers and nocks) are left overs from previous arrow making.Hope to make an assault on some squirrels in February.Hope you enjoy.

Nice. Should be easy to see as they bust a squirrel.

They hold up good if you hitem' in the head I have had a few chew on the shaft.I prefer to take them on the ground. That makes the walk to fetch the arrow shorter.

Did you use full length uncut feathers?  I don't know much about flu flu's but I want to make some.

Flyboy,
Yes I did use full length and you put the fletching clamp in the center of the feather and cut the tag ends off(make sure the feather is facing the right direction). You can mark your clamp to cut a shorter length if you want. and at 4" you can get 2 per full length feather.

Excellent way to channel your energies!  Nice color combo too!  Good Luck with the tree rats!
2nd Lt. George Rice: Looks like you guys are going to be surrounded.

supposed to be surrounded.

looks like full width , but cut to 5" or so. you use uncut feather for spiral flu flu's. i havent seen anyone do straight flu flu with a full length. that would be neat.

i love them arra's . where did you get those chart feathers from?

I got the chartreuse-flo lime green from Joe Skipp. I also had some pink that were as bright as a road flare.Joe is a sponsor and he has some stuff in the sponsor classifieds for sale.Unless you do a spiral with a full length you wont find a clamp big enough for a full length, that I am aware of.
