there is a reason all the olympic shooters shoot them. you ABSOLUTELY get a better release with them. ive shot tab for close to ten years now. i could never go back to a glove.

I have always shot split finger. I used a glove for the first fifteen years just because that is what I started out with. A tab didn't feel right when I tried it at first, although I could shoot with it.

I switched to a tab a few years ago and now shoot well with it. I have one that was custom made for me that is thicker and shaped to my hand. Hated getting blisters on my fingers from shooting.

The main reason I decided to switch was I got tired of having to figure our how to use a shooting glove and a cold weather glove at the same time. I didn't like having to use one shooting glove in warm weather and then a larger one to fit over a wool glove liner in the cold weather. With a tab I can wear it on my hand or wear it over a cold weather glove just by adjusting the loop that goes over my finger.

Like others have said, just use the one that works best for you. It really doesn't matter what you use as long as it works and you shoot well and true.

Have used most brands of gloves (and modified gloves) because in AZ I sweat and it eats the leather, tried several tabs and then found my Cavalier and that is the one.

I shoot a tab now, but for many years prior used a glove.

Shot whatever best fits you.

Shoot a three-under tab.  Like it because I can get my bare finger tip anchored into my anchor point.  With a glove I just couldn't get the right "feel" of my anchor.

3Under

Like "Easyup" sweat works on my gloves and they don't last for me. I use tabs now that I cut out of Cordovan leather. Can't wear them out-just lose them. Wear them over gloves in cold weather

I started with a glove and shot that way for a long time.  When I got done with a ten year wheelie bow stint    I started shooting tab (split finger) and have had good luck with it for some time now.  As a bonus it fits under the finger cover on my glommit when it is really cold and my hand stays warmer.  Glommits don't agree with the glove at all, at least the one I was using.

started with glove but now I go with tab, it gives you a cleaner release, especially the cordovan ones.
