I don't think you'll be able to dye them anyway... I have the same filson gear and I think it's too dark to take a dye.   If your adamant, google "RIT DYE" for techniques.

If I were to camo the dark grey (never tried it but...) I'd paint just a couple or three 4" horizontal and vertical stripes using a light grey spray or fabric paint.....Phil

Those ol charcoal greys will do fine. They will just think your lower body is just aburned up old stump. Now making them scent free with a good scent eliminating soap, thats were its at.If you get busted,it will most likely be the movent of arms or head ,even eye balls that will get ya.Good Luck, hope you get a big one.

Maybe just some 3" or 4" diagonal stripes instead    :dunno:   I don't think it matters to the deer but I just always felt like a big dark blob sitting there without some broken pattern....Phil

I am giving up camo completely because I have found it is much like fishing lures, made to catch a lot more fisherman then fish.

What size are your pants? I just happen to have a pair of like new Filson Mackinaw pants in timber camo. Mighty nice pants but might trade for some in similar shape. Mine are 36X 30 I think with a couple more inches that could be let out on the hem
