I purely love D and R longbows and was personally sold that they were the best of both worlds. That is until I built the Static limb Talon. Now I believe that the static recurve with a sharp curve is the best of both worlds. It is much shorter than the D and R longbows but has much of the same attributes that the D and r has. Speed , Quietness and smoothness of draw with no pinch. I believe that most of the bowyers on here that build a static would agree.

Some of us like both, long bows,and recurves, both shoot great, I just can't make up my minds.
Archery is a family sport, enjoy it with your family.
