After I started looking around at the old trebark stuff, I stumbled onto this stuff and I really like the look of it. The deer probably wouldn't notice but it might also work really good for turkey.

Tim for what it's worth about 15 years ago I took several different camo shirts and hung them in the woods . Hearing that deer are basically color blind I took pictures of them with black and white film . Most of the shirts were noticably darker than the surrounding cover but the pattern that seemed to dissappear was the predator patterns . You are also in Jersey and as I hunt mostly pine woods the spring green pattern is without doubt the best I've ever used. A few years ago I was hunting with my Son who was in a pine tree about 25 yards away and I could see his face mask but was amazed at how well he blended in .Most often deer scan right through me and never lock onto me unless I move , which happens a lot , but even when they wind me they rarely pick me out. My experience anyway .

I'm with you Greyfox, I was helping a guy take down some treestands after a week hunt in Illinois and when he climbed up there...well, I knew I had to have some of this stuff.  He was wearing the Predator Fall Gray.  My insulated clothing is this pattern and I can't tell you the times that deer just look through me.  Best pattern for treestand hunting when the leaves are gone!

Fred, I will have to look into the Predator patterns. Thanks

The camo pattern I saw is under gear review by the RMEF magazine. It is Scent-Lok's new Dual Fleece, $160/jacket and $150/pants. It would make you look like part of a tree. This one actually makes sense to me.

Here's some I made in the mid-80's, notice the young dude wearing it!!
