Man I am gonna say this but it will sound silly... Tasco has a small one on sale at the big box store that starts with a C. Tasco 5.0 It was 99 bucks but now is 79 at the bargain cave. I liked the one I bought so much I bought 4. Cheap, runs off 4 AA batteries and takes pretty good picks...here's one:

My wildgame IR4 has been a good one.  It is on sale at Cabelas for like $60 right now.  It is larger, black, and no way to secure without a box, but low cost for sure and takes decent pic's.  I really love my Scout Guard 550's, but more $ for them.

You can get one as cheap as you want, remember you usually get what you pay for.  For my money the Cuddybak Capture can't be beat, it's reasonably priced ($175) very easy to operate and takes the best night pictures going. Here is a sample.  RW

Stone Knife

Never used one on game but I did use a Cudde back IR to catch some vandles at work. After the picks were shown to the police and the youths were spoken to, the trouble stopped. Clear pics at night and they never new it was there.

dlc coverts are some great cams. they are small and ir lighting for night! 3 different models covert one which is a 3or5 mp,covert two which is a 3or5 mp with more leds, and the new covert hr which is 3,5,or 8 mp!

Go here trailcampro.com.

Loads of information and great folks to deal with.

They pretty much have it down to two:  If price is no issue reconyx.  If it is, the bushnell trophy cam.

I have four of the latter...and I think the trophy cam has the same guts as the dlc coverts.

The Night Stalker

when you look at the reviews, the cudde-backs are hit or miss. Guys like or hate them. I really think they have a problem with quality control on the line. Most guys do not get there problem resolved through customer service without a bunch of hassle. I had a DLC covert, good customer service. I do not like the way the camera needs the remote control or has to format the card every time. I just bought a spy point for 99 dollars. The test went great and I just put it out tonight. I will probably buy a Reconyx in the future because i use my camera all year long around the farm. I get all kinds of activity.
