No Love from Maine

My son, brother, father and myself were all shut-out in the Maine Moose Lottery for something like the 12-13th year in a row.  Good thing I drew a Colorado elk tag.

At least you got Colorado! My first choice pick this year had 100% draw odds last year and I didn't get it this year. Also struck out on MI elk this morning, although that's a looooong shot. Fortunately I got Wyoming and Nebraska deer.

I went 34 yrs before drawing, then passed up a small bull,
great trip, with animals around every day

I get to start applying again next spring after a 3 yr wait
hopefully not as long of a wait next time

34 years! - Well, I guess I won't set my expectations too high - I've only been at for about 12 years.
