Have one and love it.  Hunting public land I usually have to pack in quite a ways and the suit works for me because I can walk in light, then just climb into the suit.  I wear uninsulated boots even in zero temps and my feet never get cold, (which I usually have a problem with).  Rolled up its about the size of a small sleeping bag, but this isn't a problem because at least it's just one thing as opposed to stapping bibs, coat etc. to your pack.  You should know though that it is not waterproof, and you will get wet in rain/sleet/(hard frost dripping from the pine tree you're sitting in!)  Probably the best peice of clothing gear I've purchased in awhile and my buddies can't believe how long I can sit and never get cold.  I obviously prefer to not have to use it, but when it's cold and you have to sit all day it's second to none.

thanks, is it hard to put on in a tree stand?

I hunt out of a loc on stand and use pole climbers to get up there I was thinking I could make some kind of covers for the climber tips.

I find as I age being cold just does'nt agree with me anymore.

Junglecat

I have one and have used it few times.I have been using mine in a ladder stand.I am always attached to the tree when putting the hbs on and taking it off.I am also sitting down when getting in and out of the hbs.It comes with a couple of bootie-like covers  that slip over your shoes before you climb in.This helps eliminate getting dirt, mud, etc. inside the main body of the suit and keeps it contained in the smaller booties.A backpack is also available for packing the suit in and it has a couple of extra pockets as well.I saw a tv program a week or so back and one of the guys on the show talked about how the shape of the hbs might keep deer from recognizing the human form and also he felt you could get away with more movement while inside the body suit.It will definitely keep you warmer as well.

You need to get used to it. But, it's very warm. I'll never regret buying it. Much easier to use in a ground blind.

I'm like Junglecat.  Once up in the tree, and strapped in with the safety harness, I sit down and put on the booties, put my feet in then stand to pull it up to shoulder level.  Is it hard? No.  Is it easy? Not really, but not any harder then putting on other heavy clothes, or sweating your #^%@*@ off because you wore all those clothes to climb up!

I got one, love it.  I can't stand cold weather, got frost bit years ago and just cant take it anymore.  I never understood why more people don't own one.  I know they cost a bit, but who else says that if ya get cold they'll take it back.  Best piece of cold weather gear there is.  :campfire:
