surprise visitor

so, i was bowhunting for whitetails yesterday evening, and a surprise visitor showed up. pretty rare for S. Alabama. he was a young one. maybe 90 pounds. cool though! my buddy got pics of him last year, and there is a really big boar that is around on this same property. very cool encounter for these parts.

I'll trade ya some bear for deer. We have lots of bear and thanks to our PGC no deer.

A few years back I had some property in Wisconsin. It was not unusual to see bear while we were bowhunting for deer. The first time unnerves you a little but after that it is pretty cool.

i have always wanted to hunt for bear, but that sealed it yesterday. gonna start saving for it now.

that one yesterday woulda been WAAYYYY expensive! ;-)
