I need to order a B-50 string for my wifes new to her Pearson Colt. The bow is 62", 30#@28". My question is how many strands are needed in the string? 14 strands is the lowest I see on 3rivers website which seems overkill to me.

I'm looking for an endless loop.

You can go with 10 strands easily & possibly 8 strands but I'd stick with 10 strands because you'll have to have the center serving a little thick in the nock area to have a good connection with most nocks.
Zona Custom Recurve: 60" 49# @ 27.5".
Sky Sky Hawk Recurve: 60" 47# @ 27.5".

OK thanks. Where can I order a 10 strand string?

Check out Josh (Oliverstacey) in the sponsors section - makes a really good string at a fair price.

Why not go with a Flemish twist string?

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

WPAtrapper
