Just got back from Texas and I got 4 nice snakes, How do you prepair the skins for bow backing

Jack Skinner

I use a spoon to scrape off any excess fat and tissue. Then tack/nail to board flesh side up and let dry. Trim off thick unusable belley skin. Roll up and place in ziplock bag. Keep away from flies and bugs thats about it. Place in water to rehidrate before using on bow.

You may want to wash them good in dish detergant as well before you tack them up to get out any oils from the fat.
