I have a tendency to try different broadheads every couple of years and have found all the "traditional" broadheads to perform as well as I shot them; provided it is solidly built.  For me, where I shoot a critter is a lot more important then the broadhead used. The following critters were all taken with 190 Grizzly's a few years back.

This one was taken from a ranch, it was not a hunt.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

one of the best value broadhead you can buy, perhaps not easy to get sharp when they are out of the box the first time but so effective and strong !

look, a 172 kilograms red stags of south french alps, an el grandé 190 and a 49 / 27 draw PSA black widow and lot of Asby way of tuning ... 70 m recovery going down in the steep !

One arrow , two hogs. Grizz 160, arrow dynamics trad heavy, 60lb 60in recurve. Arrow went through both hogs and stuck in the dirt.

Heart shot young doe this past February. Grizz 150 el grande cx heratige 250 shaft 63lb long bow. They fly like field points.  Having said that, I am hunting this year with my favorite three blades.

Couple of bears taken with the same head. 140 gr w/125 gr steel adapter. First bear broke the shaft but the broadhead was in great shape.

Here is one of the two bulls I shot with Grizzlies in Australia. Both bulls were killed with one arrow. The Grizzlies will not let you down. They can blast through the heaviest hide and bone and still be shaving sharp as they cut through the heart and lungs.
