I am looking at buying an Asbell or Ron Laclair pull over.  I am 6'4" tall and weigh 220 lb.  I am wondering what size of pull over to buy.  Large or XLarge.  Anyone out there my size who owns one?

That is a good idea.  I assume she is Freds wife and can be reached thru his website phone number?

Clay,
I have one of the LaClair pull overs. I'm 6'3" and weigh 200 lbs. and have a 31" draw (long arms) and the XL is plenty big for me. I'd think it would be big enough for someone who weighed up to 240 or so with plenty of arm length.

I also have an XL LaClair(longhunter Heavyweight) and I am 6'3" and 230lbs(during the week and 240lbs on the weekends)and it fits great plenty of room for another layer or two.But I find that a polypro shirt and a long sleeve t-shirt work best under it.That gives you warmth and freedom of movement.JMO

I don't think a Large Asbell would fit. I'm 5'10, 175#, 42" chest and thats what I wear, although the sleeves are a little long.

Clay,
The XL should be your ticket, but it wouldn't hurt to confirm that with the maker. I ordered Ron's XL originally(same size as my sport shirts)and discovered he must have been the model for the pattern sizes. (He's a big man).  I'm 6'0", 180 lbs and mine could have doubled as a tepee! But he exchanged it, no problem.  This is a large.  I think the sleeves run long to make a rolled cuff:

I'm 6'0"- 165 the LaClair longhunter in large was to big and was exchanged for a medium without any trouble. Medium is just right with or without layers which usually is t-shirt,thermal and heavy hooded sweatshirt as needed.

6'4" 215lbs. here and the XL from Teresa fits great!  I have 37" sleeves and she made them alittle longer for me.  GREAT service!!!

Well I dunno.
Here is a pic with my XL, I'm 6', 220-225 pounds, size 50 jacket cause of the shoulders. I have enough room under my XL Longhunter for a Henley and that's it. I like the way it fits, but it is a little snug.

Gerardo

yes Fred's wife is the one that makes them , and she will tailor make it for you, the laclair looks nice also, I don't own one , but either one will be great
