broadhead for turkeys

i would appreciate your opinions on a good broadhead for turkeys. i'm leading toward a 2-blade, such as a zwickey, eclipse or ace. thanks.

I like the ace super express for a 2 blade.  But don't look away from a snuffer for turkeys.

I've only killed two. One with a Muzzy Phantom that dropped like a brick and one with a Razorcap that bled out in 50 yards. Lots of guys like bigger multiblade heads like the Snuffers. One of my buddies who really likes to hunt them and has killed a few will only use Snuffers.

Shoot what you deer hunt with which is probably your most Accurate setup. No need to change anything, it will do the job..good hunting

Zwickey's or magnus' do the trick.  General rule the more steel you can get to fly accurately the better.  That said you do not want to much penetration unless it is due to a heavy arrow.  It is far better to get a ton of knock down power.  Heavy arrow+big broadhead= quite shot and dead bird

Two taken the last two years with Magnus 2 blades. Neither one of them hardly quivered when hit; down like a stone.

I think it's more shot placement than broadhead type. Not to take anything away from a good broadhead though.

I've read some good stuff and seen some good videos of the Gobbler Guillotine! Not your typical broadhead, but humane and functional

i like snuffer,i also have the guillotines as well,any of them will work if you put it in the right spot.

A two blade can pass through a bird parallel to the neck or spine and not kill the bird.  Using a 3 blade or the best three blade (160 Snuffer) the same shot would drop the bird on the spot.

A quote after my hunting partner saw my turkey this spring. "How can an inch and a half broadhead cut a 4 inch hole?"  I didn't have an answer, but there was a 4 inch hole.

I shot a bird this spring with my long bow and Woodsman's, he went about 15-20 yards and never left the ground. I wouldnt hunt deer with them, but for turkeys they seemed to work perfectly. The only reason I wont hunt deer with them is my low poundage bow likes two-bladers better.

Since Joebuck is the only person I know of to have taken the Royal Slam with trad bow and no blind, I have to agree with him also.  Ive killed 3 all out of a blind and all with 2 blade mangnus I. Don

I shot my only one to date with a Woodsman.  Darn hills in Nebraska though, he flew which made recovery a chore.  So, what did I learn?  Shotplacement and a string tracker.  We'll see how I do this fall.  Good luck!
