Line on a Good Taxidermist Wyoming?
«

Was wondering if anyone had any insight on where a guy could find a good taxidermist around the casper wyoming area? I ask because in a couple of weeks I am heading that way with the recurve for some antelope hunting and if the good lord shines down on me I would like to hang one on my wall. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Check out Kim Lutz at Kim's Art Wild in Glenrock. She has done a lot of antelope and mule deer for me and my buddies. She is not cheap but does outstanding work. We have been using her for about 10 years.

Check out Ray Hatfield with Natures Designs in Cody WY. He does the best work I've ever seen.

I'll second the place in glenrock. Been there many times and the work is tremendous
Lots of African stuff as well and it was really nice and a really clean place! Always thought if a guys workshop was neat and clean and smelled good it meant he took pride in his work

We had our Antelopes done at Ray's Taxidermy Studio. His place is a bit cluttered and sure doesn't smell that nice, but he does good work is a down right interesting person. All sort of mounts in his shop to check out. He's in Casper.

Louis Ray is a real hoot. Even if you don't use him, he is worth seeing. "Moose or mouse, just drag it to our house" is his sign in front of his shop.
