In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Hawkeye

Great story, Cameron!

You know, if you still have that rarely-used item called an "owner's manual" from that camera laying around, I bet you can push a button or two and silence that "jingle" for good... unless, of course, you find it helpful!     :saywhat:

Thanks to all you fellas for the kind comments!

Yeah, Hawkeye..that jingles gotta go. I just bought the camera about a week ago and never really fooled with it..need to find the English instructions and learn how to properly use it. I'm not sure who was more surprised by the sound of the camera....me or the hog!

If my camera had a "gay little jingle" I'd chunk it in the lake!! Of course I'm old enough to remember when gay meant happy, so maybe that's what it is.

Your writing is fun to read.   :readit:
I can't wait until hunting season! Your story has put a bur under my saddlepad, and that itch requires some weeks spent in the mountains, fresh meat and a campfire.

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
