Memory is failing !
Anyone know the recommended range ?
We're at 7 1/2 now.

Thanks

Well, I have shot every Dwyer made.  As i recall, the sweet spot for me with a 62 inch defiant was 7 1/8 measured from the throat of  the handle to the string. A bit faster at 7 dead on, but a bit louder and more hand shock.  7 1/8th was still fast, real quiet and little hand shock.  I think Dave recomends 7 to 7 1/4 on his bows.

Good luck.

What Bob B. said!! Plus or minus for your personal taste!!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Wow,  ok thanks guys !  Was wondering why things didn't seem quite right and also remember the brace window is pretty sensitive on these ....but OH so worth it !   ;)

Shooting my defiant at 7 1/8th.  That's the recommended brace for a defiant, but I'm shooting really heavy arrows now so it's quiet no matter where I have it!
