I was shooting some arrows in my yard the other day and one hit the fletching and tore it loose a good half inch,I would like to know if I can just repair it or does a new feather have to placed,I tried a little super glue but it did not hold suggestions appreciated.

Ragnarok Forge

Put it back in your fletching jig at the rig setting and use DUCO or fletch tite to glue that loose fletch right back in place.

Skill is not born into anyone.  It is earned thru hard work and perseverance.

If it is only a half inch you could put a little super glue gel on and hold it in place till it sticks.

Killdeer

Or you could cut the loose end off. A half inch will not be noticed. Lay a drop of glue at the end, or wrap it, and keep on shooting.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

If it was me, I'd simply refletch with a new feather.
