I use a 3 piece acs a&h archery longbow. i like the way it looks and also the extra weight makes it more "dead in the hand". So for me its 3 piece all the way.

3 pc just looks sweeeet to me and less hand shock

Ladams

2 Piece for me. just like the traditional longbow look of them.

I went up to ETAR for the first time this year , it was great. I had no idea what was in store for me when I arrived as I am just getting back into traditional shooting and hunting, I only went up there to get a custom bow. I shot everything I could but made sure to give each bow it's due. I wanted a one piece R/D but ended up with a three piece off the blanket sale that I just couldn't say no to.

Now I figure I'll shoot this bow this year, become as proficient with it as I can and then I'll have a good reason to go and get a one piece or a two piece since I don't have them as yet, I figure the wife will look at it as a different type of bow.

  • Leon Stewart 3pc. 64" R/D 51# @ 27"
  • Gordy Morey 2pc. 68" R/D 55# @ 28"
  • Hoyt Pro Medalist, 70" 42# @ 28" (1963)
  • Bear Tamerlane 66" 30# @ 28" (1966)- for my better half
  • Bear Kodiak 60" 47# @ 28"(1965)

I like to maintain the look of a longbow so mine are all 2piece - 5 sleeve style and one bow bolt.

Nice plan.     I think that might just work for me as well!  :D
