Good point......chuckbow !!!!!

Guys,

I just talked to the bowyer and he said to send the limbs and riser back to him......never hesitated a moment in telling me this. He said NOT to shoot the bow anymore and that he would build another set of limbs for me.

Now that is the way that a bowyer should service his product. I won't hesitate for a moment to purchase his product again.

Thank-You........one and all for your most valued opinions.

Good to hear its being taken care of.

oil in bocate. . . does not hurt anything really.  I have been told by those who work with it, that it can be a pain at times.

Glad the bowyer is caring for it. This is where painting it black plays a role as some companies have done.
If we're not supposed to eat animals ... how come they're made out of meat? ~anon

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

Winter, Glad to hear that the bowwer is going to standup to his product...

When you get the bow returned and happy with your bow, would you please tell who the bowwer is so maybe more of us will send him orders for bows.

This is the type of info that I tend to look for when getting things built for me...Good product but better service..

 Later.....Buzz
Remember...aim small miss small...

Winterhawk...if I hadn't already seen the pics my first question would have been is it bocote? I have had several bocote limbs and every single one of them has some degree of this.

Something about bocote being a very oily wood and sometimes the oil keeps the glass from adhering. Won't hurt anything, but yeah it sucks.

Are they bocote?
