Who has hunted boggy? I hunted Hominey a few years back. Never saw a buck and only 5 does.

Congratulations Jim! I've hunted everywhere BUT Boggy.  Sorry I can't help you out. I didn't draw anything this year. Good Luck!

Congratulations Jim!  I've hunted Deer Creek and Hominy, but not Boggy.  Maybe some of the OSS guys have.

I did however, draw an either sex elk tag for the Wichita Mts.  I'm pumped!  Been putting in for that hunt for almost 30 years.

clint you lucky dog. wish i was in your shoes. ihave been putting in for about the same. you gonna take john with you for a pack mule.he would make a good one. i drew deer creek . havnt ever hunted this area before may have to get with you and john and pic your brains and find out where the big ones hang out.-----------joey

Joey, I don't think John will get to go.  He took a new job, and probably won't be able to get that many days off.  He'd sure nuff make a good pack mule tho.     Probably take my son Trent if he don't have finals that week.  And yeah, I feel like a lucky dog after putting in all those years.

Struck out at McAlester.  What is Boggy and how often does a guy draw out for McAlester.  I just put in for the first time this year cause I always forget till its too late!  Is Boggy trad only?

droptine- the entire base is trad only. It's divided into 4 areas- Hominy, Boggy, Deer Creek, and Bear Trap. Bear Trap is the central area and off limits

im headed for deer creek next weekend. i cant wait. this is my 7th time going and i still get way excited!!!!!!!!! hopefuly i'll get a shot at one of those big boys this time-----------joey
