Does anybody have any experience with this bow? Is it more like a recurve or a Longbow? I am considering this bow for future try before you buy bow.

The PSR is a full recurve just with a BW long bow (PL) handle.

Are you willing to give up what you are; to become what you could be?

Red Tailed Hawk

So it will feel more like a recurve??

LongStick64

They are 50's style recurves and they definetly feel like recurves to me.

Call them up and ask them about the try before you buy. It`ll only cost you shipping if you don`t like it.

i've had 3 of them and loved them all. short riser - longer working limbs, longbow handle - recurve limbs, riser cut to center so a little more effort to spine arrows - widow recurve thump so a little more time silencing. i owned my b4 they were making short take down risers. i got mine so i could have a curve and longbow with the same handle/grip.

Red Tail,

I have all varieties of widows.  My favorites are PL and PSRs.  I hunt elk with PLs and hunt ground blinds and tree stands with PSRs.  They are great compliments and shoot almost identically.  I like the fact the sight picture is same and I freely change back and forth all season.    I currently have a 48# at 29" PSR(same as 45 at 28) that I am thinking of selling.  I am ordering a heavier version of the same for more speed and reach out on the Antelope flats.  If you are interested its 58" Ironwood, take down, beaver tail grip.  Probably 90%.  Will sell for 60% of retail.  PM me.

Blackhawk

For me, a little recurve like that needs a recurve grip, so I have a little 54" PSR just made that way.  So if you don't like their standard grip, have them copy one you do like.
