I'm using a Howard Hill Halfbreed for this year. Next year, I'll use the Black Creek I have ordered.

I used to shoot both but have been shooting longbows exclusively for about 13 years.
May your next adventure lighten your heart, test your spirit, and nourish your soul.

Longbows...D-Style. This should be a Poll.

I have five Hill bows, a Quillian Bamboo Longhunter, a Deathwish by Steve Welte, a Kolomi from Lynn Harrelson, and a Royal Safari (Bear). The Wesley Special is my main "go to" bow. I have several recurves also, but just don't seem to enjoy them as much as the longbows.

Longbows for me. Hung my recurves up for good a couple years ago. Unless I change my mind.

I love shooting my longbows, and take them hunting more than often than not. Shoot them pretty darn OK as well. I also have a few 50's style recurves that are great hunting bows and use them often.

Truth be told however, I shoot a Big River Flatbow as well as anything I own. If I drew a one of a kind tag, of any kind this bow would be coming along.

I shoot both.  However, the newest horsey in the stable gets the nod: McCullough Griffin LB.

Mohawk longbow. I start out the year shooting both but end up with the longbow. I like the light mass weight and quietness. Plus I shoot it just as well as the recurve.

I like 'em all....but If I had to grab one bow and depend on it, I have an old Mahaska longbow that is as good as it gets!!!

Longbows now!  Mainly 3pc takedowns with r/d limbs

Blackstick

I have made the decision, and since June 1, I will not shoot anything else but my 1970 Kodiak Hunter until January 1. Then the process starts all over.
