Thank you all for the kind words! Yes, I am blessed beyond words. Yes, these are the times of long days and short years... My daughter is 7 and it seems I brought her home yesterday. Tomorrow both children will be grown and gone.

I will teach him to be brave and kind, to love God and country, to honor his mother and father and to be true to his self. Oh yeah, and how to shoot straight, skin a hog and BBQ. Gotta cover the basics, you know.
