anybody have an idea what a 2514 filled with a 2216 would spine out to . im looking for a log for a log thrower 100+ lb bow.  :bigsmyl:
form is everything! shoot well shoot hard.

Old York

I'm coming up with 187 pounds static spine, now that's provided the shafts have practically an interference fit, i.o.w., t-i-g-h-t!

Easton used to make a 2440 shaft, that would be close to what you are describing

If you use a 30" gt7595, a 8" sleeve of 2216, a 300 grain point, and a 200 grain insert, you come out with an arrow that spines around 125# and weighs around 950gr. You could adjust the spine up or down by changing the length of the sleeve.

I guess it wouldn't be too hard to create a 200 grain insert.

The FOC would be around 29%.
