Do anyone have any experience with Yellowstone bows? If so, what are your opinions of the quality of these bows? I am interested in the Yellowstone Longbow model.

I would also like your thoughts on wood combinations. I would like a darker wood, so I considering Cocobolo/Bocote combo. I think the gray wood bows( unsure what wood are used on these bows) look nice too.

I don't want this bow to be too fancy, just a nice looking hunting bow.

Thanks in advance for your help and opinions,

Dennis

I own 2 of them. I think they are great. One of them Rich made for me and when I saw another one for sale I grabbed it up. Great workmanship, good looking bows. Mine is my go to bow after I flirt with something else. Mine has bamboo limbs for the veneer so it is a blond bow. I have to put limb skins or something on it for hunting cause it has an excellent finish which is too shiny.

Rich is a great guy and his finished product is second to none. I have a Renegade flatbow: hard  hitting and very smooth drawing bow. You cannot go wrong with one of his bows.

God bless,
