Just wanted to let you all know that our broadheads are ready to be shipped. You can check them out on our website at  www.redfeatherarcheryonline.com

As always if you've got any questions please ask. Thanks, Stan.

screamin

hey Stan, whats the rockwell hardness on these heads?

Are you going to be offering the sharpening jig too?

By the way, nice heads and they fly great.

StanM

Hey Dan, thanks for trying them out for me.  The Rockwell is 50, seems to be a good combination of sharpenability and edge retention.

We are going to offer the jig, I've already built a few, my brother just hasn't added them to the website yet  :knothead:

I'll get on him again today about that.

Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but you can bet before long I'll send you my order Stan!  If it performs as well as your talon we're in business!

Just got the ones I won on the St. Judes auction.  These things are built very well.  The tip seems stronger then the most of the long lean 3 blades out there.  Should be great head for whatever you want to shoot.

Very nice broadhead. They look indestructible, and with the jig can get these babies sharp. Thanks Stan!

L82HUNT

Sat down this morning to sharpen, mount and shoot these heads.
Sharpening wasnt to bad taken 20 minutes a head. Used a lite file and a couple differant stones, was able to get a edge to shave hair off my arm fairly easy. A better edge then I could get on a standard 3 blade.  I have always been a firm believer in a 2 blade for elk but for the first time since I started hunting them I'm thinking of switching.

StanM

Thanks the info, Glenn, I hope these heads serve you well.  Good luck this year with the elk, regardless of what head you use.  Elk hunting is about as good as it gets.

Looking forward to some pictures when September rolls around.  Thanks again.

Rob DiStefano gave me one during our hunt last week.

I'd be interested in a sharpening jig also....although I'm sure I can sharpen it with my 6" grobet.

Looking forward to hearing your review of head, Terry.  I think a grobet would put a wicked edge on the head.  Jigs are now up on the website.

I was arguing a Rage broadhead thread and found this video ... at about 3:20 into it, they shoot a Phoenix - I've never heard of them

And I've not seen a broadhead bust through like that before !

They are a great head. I was able to put them through the moose test this year. I was very impressed!
