Did you know deer like Armor All?

At least Rinehart deer do.  My broadhead buck was getting a little white looking and brittle out in the elements so I gave him a good coat of Armor All.  He looks like a young buck again.

Have to try that I put that on my carbon arrows makes them pull easier out foam targets,

Try using it on your rubber grippers of your quiver.  The arrows come out smooth and quiet.  Mine always made noise taking them out when elk hunting, but this did the trick.

Reddogge,

How do you like your rinehart?  Is it pretty durable?

I've been doing that too on my Rineharts. The sun out here does a number on them. I pour the ArmorAll on them..

reddogge, thanks for the tip. Did you know that walleye like preperation H?

Has anyone tried any of the waterproofing sprays on their targets? Or is a good coat of ArmorAll all that is needed to keep them from weathering?

Penetrol works great too> I think it lasts longer
Get the one for fiberglass and just wipe it on

Black bears like Preperation H as well. Don't leave it in your tackle box in bear country.  One question, If you get Armorall or Penetrol on your hands from your target does it make it harder to get a good grip on your arrows?

I don't think I want to know how you all found out about the P-H working on fish and bears.

I've been using 303 Aerospace Protectant on my Rinehart targets for the last several years with good results. I spray them once a month while they are outside. But, at $60 a gallon, I will be giving the Armor-All a try when I run out.

How do you guys like the Rinehart targets?  I'm considering getting one?

I've got 4 Rineheart targets & love mine, I need to get the insert for 2 of em but they still stop some heavy arras.

BTW, thanx for the tip bud.

Gene I have learned a lot from you. Great idea.

I never thought of using it on a target either will have to give that a try.

Armor all is good stuff but it washes off. I had a buddy that used the stuff for fly line dressing. You could cast all the way across the river for the first couple of casts, then it was back to square one. I don't own a Rhinehart target but I have a Delta that I have to keep covered or the sunlight will turn that stuff to concrete.
