Just wondering why it seems all endless B-50 strings come with monofilament center serving instead of a modern material serving ?  Is there anyone on the forum that makes endless strings and will serve it with one of the modern servings ?

Look in the sponsors classified add section,I believe there is a guy there that is making endless strings.I haven't used monofilament serving in years,I used to use clear mono in a flemish twist strings because it looked cool and was slick.

no, not all dacron strings come mono center served, any trad gang string maker sponsor will serve any style of string any way ya like.

mono serving- that's a throw back to the 60's and 70's when mono was popular 'cause it appeared to offer a slicker release.  until it got nicked, busted and then !sproing! it totally unravelled and ya had no center serving.

I make both endless and flemish, and I have several different types of serving--nylon, 62XS, and Halo.

I've had a death in the family, but will be back at it in the shop in a week or so.
