Wow, that is beautiful !  Great choice of woods. What length is it ?

I shot a Royal Crown at K-Zoo this year and was blown away at how smooth, quiet and comfortable it was. Ron first had me shoot it with some big heavy wood arrows, when I came back to the table he handed me some lighter weight carbon arrows and said to go shoot it again. I couldn't barely tell a difference between the two different arrows..... was just as quiet and shock free with the lighter arrows. A 58" Royal Crown is on my list of must haves this year.

Here's a neat turn on the dremel stippling Snag...using multiple sizes of the diamond ball bits in a random pattern.

It is 62" long.

JC, I like the looks of that!!! Do you use 2 or 3 different sizes?

Not my work man, my dremel work is relegated to grinding on grips, nothing fancy like you're doing. I think he used 3 different sizes and did each in a random pattern/depth. I know he practiced a bit on scrap wood until he figured out the technique to getting it random looking but once he did it's sweet looking, and feels great too.

SNAG!

You are too talented with the woodworking to drill a bunch of little holes in that beautiful bow...you are VERY capable of buying a checkering tool, practicing for an hour or two and put Norm's checkering to shame.  NO DREMEL   :knothead:

Hey Snag try the footed arrows in that bow and let us know!

portugeejn

Bring it to the TAB meeting next month so we can drool on it!   :biglaugh:

Bjorn, you are thinking like me...I tried the footed shafts in it today...they were made for each other! haha

SteveO, I had thought about that too. Need to look around for some checkering tools....?

Ron, I need to checker the grip before I get it wet.   :D
