Well I am in Columbia,MO for work and I pm'd Mudd about getting together to possibly meet and shoot a few arrows. We met in Columbia and I got to shoot several of his bows and I brought my 54 inch Treadway it fits in the car better than my 66 inch Miller bow. I think he liked it he was stacking them in there pretty darn good at 20 yards. Good conversation and good shooting and a new friend to boot. Thanks Mudd for making this travelers evening very enjoyable. Flint  :)

Thanks for the kind words Flint! You beat me to getting up a post. I was all the way south to the parkway when I remembered I needed to pick up a turkey tag for the Woogchilde. I had to turn around and drive back into town.

It was my honor to get to meet you and then I really felt honored when you let me shoot your Treadway.
I was impressed with it and even moreso when I learned of its mojo.Thank you!

Flint can attest to the fact that I shoot whatever arrows I can get my hands on...lol
I will also shoot about anything that'll fling an arrow. I took my MOAB, Bentpoles Mohawk, a Bear Montana(which never left the truck), the Spirit bow, bamboo backed yew(Maddogs')bamboo backed hickory... it feels like I'm forgetting one or more that I tool along.

Flint and I met a real nice young man who is on the UMC (wheel-bow)shooting team. His name was Woody Smelzer and he was from swampeast Missouri. I grew up down there and went to school/played basketball and baseball with his Uncle Jimmy.
It's a small world after all.

God bless,Mudd

PS Flint we'll have to do it again.

An evening with Mudd is about all a man can handle. My gut will hurt for a day or two after the get together from laughing so much. One of these Saturdays Mr. Mudd we are coming up to raid your bamboo patch.
I try not to let my mind wander...It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.

You're welcome to all you want as long as YOU cut it and YOU clean up afterward.

The only real thing between you and here is air.... so breath deep and come on!

I can honestly say I had a great time with Flint. Before we got together I went to his profile to see what is real name was and to my surprise, it's Flint. How could any archer worth his salt not like anyone named Flint... really!...lol
