I have been tuning arrows and adjusting my bow trying to get everything dialed in for turkeys. The last few days everything has fallen into place. i have been doing the majority of shooting at 15yds with some down to 3yds and out to 20yds. I am shooting a 175 grain VPA Terminator so I only shoot 1 arrow groups. Here is how I'm shooting at 15yds. So far the past few days the shots have been mostly in the 10 ring 15yds or under, 99% of any flyers are still in the 8ring. At 20yds there are not as many in the 10, but still inside a fist sized group.

Either way.......The turkeys are in trouble!

Over&Under

Ya I would have to agree they are in trouble!  Good shooting!

Good shooting Skipmaster1, and I hope the next "flyers" you shoot have feathers, gobble and strut! Post some non-foam turk pics when you get one, good luck.

Hahah yeah, i usually shoot 4" parabolic but I set up some 5.5" Shield cut for small game season.....easier to find them!

Thats some mighty fine shooting Greg. Now go stick a live one with that Terminator, take a picture of it and we will stick it on the photo gallery at VPA.

Now if there was a way to interject some adrenalin into the equation and see how the shooting goes we'd have the whole picture! haha  Good shooting. Looks like you're dialed in...go get 'em!

Greg,

I think you are "zoned".  BTW - did "someone" slightly miss and hit the head on that turkey?

The Terminators are by far the best 3 blade heads i have shot. i love the WW and the Snuffers but these sharpen quicker, stay sharper, seem stronger and are dead silent in flight. i can't wait to try them on some birds, deer and maybe elk.
Of course i need the birds to cooperate but i can hunt every morning from April 28th to may 31st and i have a few places all scouted out with some really nice toms. I didn't seem to get "bird fever" too bad last year and i'm shooting even better this year!

Jaime- It sure feels like I have sights on that thing! The key was to increase the head weight to get really good flight. even stading with my back to the target i can swing around as i'm drawing and get a shot into the kill zone 90% of the time...crazy

Hayslope- Last year i practiced shooting at the head with FP's to get ready for using Bullheads. I wasn't happy with them so i went back to using 3 blade COC's
