Rick Welch accuracy factor

Just curious who has seen this video and what you think.

Money is a little tight right now because I am in the process of buying a house, but really want to see this video and just want to make sure it will be worth buying or if someone could just borrow me a copy so I can see if I like it for sure or not.

I just watched a copy being passed around for free. I can send it to you next if you would agree to send it along to another when you are done using it. The copy is scratched bad but it played well for me after I applied some silicon dressing oil. It got stuck in 3 diff CD players before I did that. PM me your address if interested.
I liked the video except for the parts about tuning a bow to fit your "sight picture" if for example you are hitting left when you first start shooting a new bow you should shrink your side plate diameter??? Didnt say a word about tuning your arrow to fit your set-up.

I liked it, he can shoot for sure. I kind of shoot that style so some tips help. I think it's the same for any instructional DVD. Apply what you can but not to much at once.

I liked it and would recommend it to anyone with an open mind and willingness to experiment. The part about bow tuning was the most valuable to me as I shoot a lot of different bows and like to have them all shooting the same w/o having to take a few shots to reprogram my shots for the way the bow shoots. I think the #1 thing I got was getting my recurves and longbows all (all but one) shooting where I look.

I liked it for it pointed out my problem right on the spot. Now I hold the draw longer and the results are much better.

If you like testimonials the tape is great. otherwise ,the few tips given (that aren't any secret) isn't worth the price!

I just got it, watched it once. So far I'd have to agree with Lucky Strike, I don't learn anything from testimonials. I like the idea of keeping things simple, but I think he glosses over things. For example, once you're grouping (what if you are having trouble?) tune the bow to hit where you're looking (at what distance?).

I'm a Rick Welch fan, but what you need to realize is aint no dvd gonna make you a better shot overnight. Ive got em all, Ricks, MBB ,Byrons, and a bunch more. Take from it what works and leave the rest alone. The best thing Ive learned from Rick IS the tune the bow to the arrow. Ive spent alot of time comming up with my own way (that seems to work most of the time ) by watching good shooters and putting in alot of time with the bow. Just my 2 cents. DB
