Ken,

Yep it is now "I" beam handle like our other bows.  The grip is a little different as it is now the same as the Oracle in a rough state.

It's near centershot but wouldn't take it any narrower then .760 or so.

Actually we just got the Actionwood in last week and haven't built a blank with it to take a pic of yet.

Standard tips will be black glass with the brown or grey overlay.

Which deft are ya'll using, and will it dry over oily wood without sealing first?

Love to see some pictures of these you guys have finished.  Stan, can you bring one tonight?

It's the Deft wood finish - satin in the white and blue can.  It is about the best for the one time bowyer.  Dries fast and seals anything.

Here's mine. Not to be confused with a bowyer, but had a good time messing with it. Doubt anyone is going to want me to take their wedding pictures either.

Great thread...anybody have more pics?  I'm going to pick one of these up at Denton.  Love that they have the accents now.

BWD- Is that cocobolo?

Not the best photo because I had to scan it, but here is a pic of one of my former students with a bbo he made from a Dryad glue up.

I'm working on mine right now. It is a lot of fun. I'm starting to get a little nervous though because I'm getting ready to start on the tips.

Just keep in mind..."you can take more off, but you can't put it back"... Enjoy the process.     :knothead:
