Doug and I walked over a small rocky hill putting a stalk a some Gophers just the other side. At the top Doug as usual spotted one before I did. It seemed pretty far off and I was suprised to see Doug drawing his bow back. Whack!! That gopher rolled up and kicked like crazy. I could'nt believe it! A huge smile had taken over my face and I let out a yell. I paced Dougs shot off. It was a tad over 55 yds from an elevated posistion. Now that was "Good shootin!".

 Curt looking forward to it also. I hope to be hunting whitetails with ya soon.

The scenery in Montana takes your breath away. On the way to Dougs my wife was getting frustrated with stopping every mile or so for a picture session. Pronghorn,Muley,Elk,Bald Eagles and huge herds of whitetails. I was in heaven.

Wish we'd gotten close enough for some elk pics like that, Brenda's camera is pretty awesome. Bright sunny day today, spect the gophers are running rampant     Buster and Liz are sure missing all the extra attention the enjoyed for a few days...

Brenda has the disk you made Doug. Gonna have to wait until she gets back for more pics. Wish I was after those goffers with ya. Pups have somthing coming via U.S Post Office. The Elk we did see was my first real life look at them. They are just as awsome as I thought they would be. The first time I hear one bugle close, I hope my heart does'nt just shoot out of my chest!!
