Last january I put a posting on about shoulder tendonitis. I had alot of positive feed back. Well, after Mri's, X-rays and seeing a specialist. I was diagnosed with shoulder inpingment/tendonitis. I am happy to say after 3 weeks of physical therapy I just shot a few arrows from my 45 lb Kodiak Mag. Muscles were a little weak but it felt great to be shooting again. Going to take it easy on shooting the next few weeks hopefully it clears up. Turkey and carp season is just around the corner !!!

Congratulations, glad for your diagnosis. I went in last spring to get a bone spur removed, woke up with rotator cuff surgery, long road back from that.

I had reconstructive surgery on my left shoulder in Dec 08. I am left handed and started shooting 16 days after surgery. Shoulder gets a little sore sometimes but doing well. I have had to drop bow weight down to 45-50 lbs though. When I shoot my 60# bow my shoulder kills me. Will start selling my stronger bows so I don't tempt myself.

One rule of thumb, if it hurts, stop. I didn't and ended up with bicep tendonitis for five years. It finally went away. Gary

I agree Sagebrush. If it hurts stop. That is why I need to sell some of my bows. They look at me and beg to be shot. I can't resist them sometimes. They must go.
