Thanks for the tips on choosing a file (Nicholson) I was able to put a nasty sharp edge on some 160gr Snuffers. Mounted them onto some Sitka Spruce shafts, drew them on my Toelke Chinook, and I really couldn't be happier right now.
Never was confident in sharpening my broadheads, thanks for the help again.

What kind of Nicholson file? I am interested in sharp broadheads, too. Thanks.

One bow. One arrow. My ideal.

8" half round Bastard, double cut, red handle. It really takes off the metal and leaves a nice burr, finished the edge off with a smaller 6 inch file very lightly to take off the burr.

The double cut will work OK, but I believe you will find a better edge with a mill file, i.e. a single cut flat file.
