I finally got a chance to get out and attack the stump population. The fresh air was just wonderful! Every thing else about the day was great too.

I was trying for full draw, but got the release.

Jerry, nice photos and good looking bow. That hill (mountain here in TX) in the first pic is just begging to be climbed. What is the story with that rock pile behind the tree?

That last pic with the rockpile and good lookin' Hill is a beauty. I'm going to add it to my "Wallpaper Rotation". Great pic to be welcomed by when my computer boots-up. Thanks for sharing!

The bow is a 70" Yew Mahantango 55#@28". The rocks are part of a stone row made from all the rocks taken out of the field from a farm that was there back during the civil war era. The hill/ mountain behind me is actually in NY state and I am standing in PA. The Delaware river, the border of the two states in the area, is in the valley between me and the mountain. Glad you all enjoyed it.

Jerry, if only those stones could talk, what history they have seen. There have been folks making trails along that beautiful Delaware River valley for thousands of years, and like you most have been carrying a bow.

Looks like you had a nice day for it.

Great pics Jerry.

I just noticed you're from Stroudsburg. I lived '80-'84 across the river in Blairstown. Many wonderful memories of chasing fish and game all over that DelGap area. I have often thought of returning on a trip to try and fish some of my old haunts with my sons but haven't for fear that the memories of that area's previous rural qualities would be shattered by progress. Beautiful country up there.

Nothing like killing cabin fever. Great pics of your fresh air. Looks like yet another snow day again today. I still might have to get that fresh air.
