Ratio between weight and draw length?

I'm currently looking to buy a used bow that is 55#s @ 30 inches. I figured 3#s off for every inch under 30. So, am I right in thinking it will be around 49#s @ 28"? Thanks in advance! Jon

That should be really close.

Jon,that is a pretty close rule of thumb.I would bet you would be very close.
