Could someone who has used one of these jigs or has seen arrows fletched with one with helical clamp tell me if you can get a fair amount of helical with it.

Thanks..Hoyt

1Longbow

I have one and like it very much ,easy to use ,though the instructions are a little lacking ,but nothing that can't be figured out. Puts a good helical on the feather, and just slide the button forward to go from 3 to 4 to 6 fletch---1Longbow

Flying Dutchman

I use a sixfold and it is great. Gives a good helecal with the helical clamp but not exxagerated.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]
Cari-bow Peregrine
Whippenstick Phoenix
Timberghost ordered
SBD strings on all, what else?

Hoyt

Thanks for the info men...I'm either going to get one of them or the Blitz...and didn't want to put the extra money into the Bliz. if the Bearpaw would give a good helical.

Do any of you know if it will give a helical like on the Grizzly Arrows?

I have been using the Bearpaw jigs for several months--I like them better than any jig I've ever owned including Bitzenbergers. The answer is yes, I have fletched (3 fletch) Grizzlystik Sitkas and the helical is perfect!

Hoyt

Thanks huntryx, that is what I wanted to know.
