Tomahawk bow ad picture question

it seems that in every tomahawk bow picture ad with the lady shooting the bow that she is not using a glove or tab. i realize that these are staged pictures but wouldnt they try to be as authentic as possible? am i just cursed with extremely tender fingers or am i missing something?

I don't know but the picture of her in the 3Rivers catalog she is using a glove shooting the bow.
