I have been shooting a newer Martin Howatt Hunter and love how the bow shoots.  However I have been shooting a couple of 58" bows lately and really like the maneuverability while hunting and the fact that I don't run the risk of the top limb hitting my basement ceiling   .  What I am wondering is if the Mamba grip is the same as the Hunter Grip.  I don't have anywhere in my area that I can shoot a Mamba to compare the grip.

I have seen newer models with very low narrower and straighter grips than the older ones. I am pretty sure you can order these from them, anyway you want.

Shifting Shadow

I had a Mamba and have drawn a Hunter. Can't say I can remember much difference in the grips.

One bow. One arrow. My ideal.

Earthdog

My Mamba feels smaller in the grip that the only hunter I've ever handled.
You can get what ever grip you like anyway.
Winning or losing is not the important thing,,the important thing is how well you played the game.

Thanks guys.  Sounds like on the production models (not custom ordered) they are similar.  I am a used bow junkie so I am mainly interested in the "generic" version.  I recently obtained a Martin / Howatt Super Diablo.  Nice bow, but the grip is a lot higher wristed than the hunter which I don't like as much and so I wanted to research the Mamba some before I bought one.
